Residential express reviews can usually be done in two days. Residential walk-thru reviews require more time, usually 1-2 weeks.
Commercial express reviews are typically reserved for interior alterations to existing buildings that take place on floors other than the first or top floor. All other projects are reviewed as walk-thru projects. Commercial express reviews can usually be done in two days. Commercial walk-thru reviews require more time, usually 2-3 weeks.

These reviews are critical for staff to ensure that any proposed construction meets safety and code requirements. When the proposed construction violates any code requirements the plans will be rejected and corrections must be resubmitted for re-review.
