Arlington First Virginia County to Receive Building Accreditation


Arlington County has been awarded accreditation by the International Accreditation Service, recognizing the County as an industry leader with a highly skilled staff that delivers top-notch customer service, and demonstrates innovative practices and procedures on building safety. Arlington is the first County in Virginia, and only the 19th jurisdiction in the nation to demonstrate compliance with  IAS’s strict  accreditation criteria for Building Departments and Code Enforcement Agencies. The accreditation award will be presented October 1 at the 2013 International Code Council (ICC) Annual Conference.
